No unfortunately the Manitou Springs Fire Department does not rescue animals.

How many calls a year do you respond to?
The Manitou Springs Fire Department responds to approximately 600 medical calls and 200 fire calls a year.

What is the City Ordinance on open burning?
There is no open burning allowed within the city limits.

How do I schedule an inspection?
Call the Fire Department at 685-1444 and ask to speak with Larry Mitchell the fire inspector.

When does your department test for full time employment?
We will generally run a testing process once every other year, sometimes every year.
