Arson Investigation

With the number of arson related fires rising annually, it has become apparent the need for early detection measures. A rapid detection of incendiary devices gives investigators a edge which increases the chance of catching and prosecuting offenders.

The Manitou Springs Fire Department has an Arson Investigation Team that consists of three people. These individuals are trained and qualified to handle most investigations within the city limits. When a large scale incident occurs, Manitou Springs may call upon other resources to aid and assist the investigantion efforts. The Manitou Springs Arson Investigation Team is on call 24-7.
